The Job

VMO is currently seeking an Assembly Technician to assist in the production of our signage solutions. In this role you will prepare the production and parts for our VMO digital display units.  You will be involved in testing, packing, configuration and maintenance of the equipment whilst upholding our high standards of quality and working towards deadlines.

Other key responsibilities include:

• Complete quality control checks
• Dispatch equipment in a timely fashion
• General network support and ongoing product development tests.
• Constant communication with managers
• Assist with ad hoc duties as require.

Who are we looking for?

At VMO we pride ourselves on having the best employees in the industry. Whilst training is provided, we are looking for a reliable individual with basic knowledge of IT systems and AV equipment who can work to a deadline. We are also ideally looking for someone with:

• Confidence using hand and power tools
• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial
• Be highly organised and methodical in nature
• Be able to work well autonomously to strict deadlines
• Knowledge of computers and audio visual equipment is beneficial
• Required to provide a Police Check prior to commencing the job
